AREAS OF PRACTICE
Lending & Credit Abuses
Consumers with problems related to residential mortgages have always been a concern to us, extending back to some of our earliest cases in 1971. Such matters can involve not only banks and other lenders, but also loan agents and mortgage servicers.
The threat of losing a home in foreclosure is a pressing problem, and one where we can help. But, there are also other abuses suffered by consumers during the lending process, while a loan is in repayment, and even during foreclosure. A lender can illegally bury fees, fines, and penalties in a transaction, or it can fail to properly disclose all methods of calculation to the consumer. A lender can even put an established mortgage holder at a disadvantage by suddenly disregarding or refusing to honor some previously negotiated loan modification.
If you feel you have a situation that may be remedied by consumer class action litigation, please contact us, and we will be happy to talk with you about your situation. You will be under no obligation whatsoever.
